Frequently Asked Questions

I work with thoughtful, self-aware people who feel stuck or unsure and want practical clarity rather than advice. Coaching sessions focus on understanding what’s driving your internal experience so you can make more confident, intentional decisions moving forward.

  • A coaching session is a focused, one-on-one conversation where we slow things down and look at what’s happening beneath the surface of a situation you’re struggling with. I listen closely, ask intentional questions, and use practical, conversation-based NLP tools to help bring clarity to the patterns influencing your thoughts, emotions, and decisions. Most people leave feeling clearer, lighter, and more grounded than when they arrived.

  • Clients often describe coaching with me as warm, grounding, and surprisingly relieving. Sessions tend to feel more like a deeply present conversation than a formal process. You’ll be met with patience, curiosity, and genuine compassion, without judgment or pressure to change. Many people say they feel seen, understood, and more connected to themselves—often gaining insights and clarity they didn’t expect to reach so quickly.

  • Coaching is present- and forward-focused. I don’t diagnose, treat mental health conditions, or analyze the past for its own sake. Instead, we focus on understanding what’s happening now, resolving internal conflict, and helping you move forward with clarity and confidence. Many clients choose to work with a therapist and a coach at the same time, as the two can complement each other well.

  • No. My role isn’t to tell you what you should do—it’s to help you understand yourself well enough to decide what feels right for you. As clarity increases, decisions tend to feel more obvious and grounded, without needing external direction.

  • People often come to coaching when they feel stuck, conflicted, or disconnected—especially around career direction, confidence, boundaries, relationships, purpose, or major life transitions. Many are capable, thoughtful people who function well outwardly but feel unsettled or unclear internally.

  • My workshops are both educational and conversational. Each one focuses on a specific topic and is designed to build awareness and practical strategy, not just share information. You’ll learn useful concepts while also being invited into reflection, discussion, and real-life application. The goal is insight you can actually use, not overwhelm.

  • Group coaching is a continuation of the conversation that begins in my most recent workshop. It offers space to deepen awareness, explore personal patterns, and develop strategy around the topic in a supportive group setting. While the focus is shared, each participant is encouraged to apply the work to their own life in a meaningful, individualized way.

If only one person signs up for a particular group coaching series, the sessions automatically become one-on-one coaching around that topic—at a significantly reduced rate compared to my standard private coaching.

  • Not at all. You don’t need any background knowledge or belief in a specific method. NLP tools simply guide the conversation in a way that helps you see yourself more clearly. What matters most is your willingness to be honest, curious, and open to reflection.

  • This work is best suited for people who are open to self-reflection and willing to take responsibility for their choices, even if they don’t yet know what those choices should be. It may not be a fit if you’re looking for quick fixes, surface-level motivation, or someone to tell you what to do.
